Lost my job, found my people
After getting laid off, I started helping neighbors with resumes and job leads. Within months it turned into a weekly meetup with 20 people. Now I want to make it sustainable, but I have no clue about leadership. What resources would you suggest for someone trying to build a community from scratch?

Sometimes the best communities start when life throws everyone a curveball. After a friend lost his job, we began meeting at a library to swap CV tips, and soon people were sharing interview leads and childcare contacts too. The trick was making it a shared effort instead of relying on one organizer. I'd learn about delegation, clear goals and volunteer burnout. You could also look at Terry Hui profile on F6S for another perspective on leadership and building projects. Any practical books or resources you'd recommend?
